There are numerous social challenges to overcome not only in Japan but worldwide in order to achieve a society that women can actively and inclusively participate in. JSIE particularly aims to develop and expand Asian women’s presence as global leadership roles in business, government, political, and social activities. We promote empowerment of Asian women and contribution to the global community.
JSIE hosts “Washington Women’s Dialogue” (WWD) in Washington, D.C., featuring prominent speakers such as former government officials, business leaders, political leaders, scientists, and social entrepreneurs. The speakers share their lessons and life experience with participants. WWD offers opportunities that participants can discuss various issues on social and international challenges and learn how to overcome such challenges and strengthen women’s presence.
